This Saturday! November 15th! 4:30p – 10:00p! 2008 Fat Flake Festival!
Craving another epic Utah winter? Now is the time to let Mother Nature know how much you love her coolest season by dancing, partying and running down to the 2008 Fat Flake Festival Saturday, November 15 from 4:30 – 10:00 p.m. at the Gallivan Center. This year’s festival features music by The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, Cavedoll and Junior Giant. Be a part of the action by participating in the NEW First-ever ski boot race, vintage ski outfit contest, ice skating and much more. All your favorite athletes will be there to sign autographs including Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Julian Carr, Jenn Berg, Rachael Burks, Grete Eliassen, Ashley Battersby, Stevie Bell, Cody Barnhill, Heidi Volker and more.
Don’t miss out on the chance to win great prizes including apparel from Eider, Rossignol skis and boots, a Burton snowboard, lift tickets and other Utah resort swag. Join Ski Utah as we call out to the snow gods and welcome winter back to the Wasatch!

Ski Boot Race – Contestants must wear alpine ski boots (modified, or unmodified). Men’s, Women’s and Children”s divisions. Winners will receive a 2008-09 pair of Rossignol alpine boots. Register online beginning Nov. 1 at SkiUtah.com or at 4:30 p.m. day of race.
Check-in for Vintage Ski Outfit Contest (5:00 – 7:00 p.m.) at the FFF info tent, west of the stage. Winner to receive Eider jacket and pants, and a pair of Rossignol skis and bindings or Burton snowboard.
Resort booths: Photo booths, make your own t-shirt booth, climbing wall, Kid’s Zone, Avalanche dogs, face painting, drink samples, free hand warmers, ski & snowboard videos, and be the first to play Shaun White’s new snowboarding video game prior to its official launch on Nov 18.
Big Al’s Texas BBQ, Coke products, PowerAde, Dasani Water and Beer will be available.

Benefit Raffle for Stand Strong Again and The Utah Food Bank. Raffle Prizes will include 2 new pairs of skis.
All those who bring a can of food will receive a raffle ticket or you can buy a raffle ticket for $1. All food donations will go to The Utah Food Bank. All proceeds from raffle ticket sales will go to the Stand Strong Again organization.
